We recommend placing sealants for the prevention of cavities and will discuss all aspects of nutrition with you and your child. We also fabricate sports guards to protect your child’s teeth during physical activities. We use digital radiography that reduce radiation by 90% making x-rays safe for your child. When necessary to treat a cavity, we use mercury-free fillings to restore teeth.

Geriatric Care
Dr. Chaiken realizes that the needs of the elderly are continually changing. The management of older patients requires an understanding of many complex medical and dental aspects of aging. Often elderly patients experience the discomfort of such things as dry mouth, tooth loss, ill fitting dentures and partials, and the inability to adequately brush their teeth due to arthritis or compromised eyesight.
